Developer DAO
Role
Branding + UI/UX Design
Project
Developer DAO
Developer DAO, a decentralized collective empowering Web3 builders, faced a critical challenge: its mission and value proposition were fragmented, leaving stakeholders (members and partners) without a cohesive pathway to engage. For members, the community’s purpose and onboarding process felt ambiguous, while partners struggled to identify collaboration opportunities. The existing brand lacked emotional resonance, and the website failed to articulate the DAO’s ethos as a constellation of innovators shaping the future of decentralized tech.

The challenge
The disconnect stemmed from a one-size-fits-all approach. Members needed clarity on their role in the ecosystem, while partners required a streamlined portal to align their goals with the DAO’s vision. The original design lacked visual storytelling, diluting the community’s collective identity and the cosmic potential of its mission.

My solution
I co-led a redesign that reimagined Developer DAO’s digital presence through two bespoke landing pages:
(1) For Members: A dynamic hub highlighting onboarding, governance, and learning resources, fostering a sense of ownership.
(2) For Partners: A curated space showcasing collaboration tiers, impact metrics, and case studies to align external goals with the DAO’s roadmap.
Design Philosophy:
The new brand embraced a starry black cosmos as its visual anchor. Here’s why:
The Void as Potential: The black canvas symbolizes the uncharted territory of Web3—a space ripe for creation.
Stars as Collective Brilliance: Each star represents a member; together, they form constellations of innovation, echoing the DAO’s belief that individuals shine brighter when connected.
Motion & Scale: Subtle animations evoke the infinite scalability of decentralized systems, while the dark theme mirrors the mystery and depth of Web3's untapped possibilities.

Feedback
I worked with Jha on the DeveloperDAO Re-brand and rebuild of the website, we had very rough ideas that XYZ was able to distill into exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommmend, great guy too

Eden Protocol
Role
Founding Product Designer
Project
Eden Protocol
In a tech hiring ecosystem riddled with mistrust and hollow resumes, Eden Protocol reimagined talent validation as a staked integrity protocol, where skills are vouched for via crypto stakes. But as a pioneering Web3 product, Eden faced skepticism: How do you make abstract blockchain mechanics feel human? How do you convince traditional recruiters and DAO leaders to trust a system built on code and community? The platform’s early design lacked warmth, and its groundbreaking concept risked being dismissed as another crypto gimmick.

The challenge
The protocol’s cold, transactional UI clashed with its mission to foster human-led trust. Users couldn’t “see” the stakes:
(1) Recruiters questioned how stakes translated to candidate reliability.
(2) Talent felt disconnected from the value of their vouched skills.
(3) Onboarding felt like a spreadsheet exercise, lacking the emotional pull of a community-driven ecosystem.
(4) The design lacked a narrative—a way to visualize integrity as a living, growing force.

My solution
1. Building the DNA: From Founding Designer to Ecosystem Architect
(1) Defined the product’s core ethos: Trust is a garden, not a spreadsheet.
(2) Championed rapid experimentation: Launched 8+ micro-products (e.g., a “Stake Map” for visualizing endorsements, a“Story Seed” feature for candidates to narrate their journeys).
2. Rapid Prototyping the Unknown
In a startup building a new category, failure was our fertilizer.
(1) Weekly Design Sprints: Shipped 40+ prototypes in 3 months, including personalized Job Boards for DAOs and tools showing how stakes compound across networks.
(2) User Testing as Ritual: Conducted 50+ guerrilla tests with developers and hiring managers. One insight changed everything: “Show me who vouched for this skill, not just the $ amount.”
(3) Pixel-Perfect Handoffs: Collaborated with engineers to codify Eden’s UI library, ensuring even the pinkest gradients rendered flawlessly.

Feedback
He transformed Eden Protocol’s UX with sharp insights and flawless execution. His research-driven designs and seamless dev collaboration turned chaos into a product users actually love. A rare pro who thrives in Web3’s pace

Arweave
Role
Consultant & UI/UX Designer
Project
Forward Research
As a design consultant for Forward Research (Arweave’s core accelerator), I collaborated with founders to embed UX thinking into protocol-native projects. My role bridged speculative vision and practical usability—designing not just interfaces, but mental models for decentralized systems.

Key Contributions
Permafacts: I led the end-to-end design of Permafacts, a decentralized truth oracle powered by Arweave and community consensus. The challenge was to translate blockchain-native mechanics—like irreversible data storage and stake-weighted voting—into intuitive UI elements from the ground up. I designed the entire platform, focusing on clarity for complex actions such as submitting claims, voting on disputes, and anchoring debates to permanent storage. The interface prioritized transparency, ensuring users could track the lifecycle of a claim from proposal to consensus, all while maintaining a frictionless experience for both new and advanced users.
VouchDAO: As the lead designer for VouchDAO, I focused on simplifying decentralized identity verification for Arweave’s Permaweb. The protocol leverages the ANS-109 standard, enabling users to verify their identity once and propagate trust across applications with just two lines of code. My challenge was to visualize this abstract, community-driven verification layer in a way that felt both trustworthy and actionable.
I designed a unified interface where users could request or issue attestations (e.g., proof of humanity, skills) tied to their Arweave wallet, with all data permanently stored on-chain. For developers, I created a minimalist integration panel featuring copy-paste code snippets for instant verification checks, reducing adoption friction. The UI emphasized transparency: users see exactly which community-vouched services endorsed their identity, while developers filter attestations by reliability scores voted on by the DAO.
Solarplex: After Forward Research’s acquisition of Solarplex, I did the redesign of its user experience to cater to both creators and users. This included two distinct landing pages—one optimized for creators (showcasing minting tools, analytics, and collaboration features) and another for users (highlighting content discovery and engagement). I built onboarding flows tailored to each audience, simplifying the transition into decentralized social interactions. Additionally, I designed the badge selection system and “profile missions,” which gamified user activity (e.g., completing tasks to earn rewards) to drive platform engagement.

Additional Contributions
Beyond product design, I provided strategic design guidance to early-stage protocols and decentralized communities, helping them align their visual identity with Web3’s foundational principles.
This included advising on user experience flows that emphasized transparency, crafting brand systems rooted in decentralization, and producing modular design assets (social media templates, governance interfaces, documentation layouts) tailored for scalability. For infrastructure-focused projects, I embedded themes of permanence and trust into every touchpoint—treating design as a bridge between technical rigor and human-centric storytelling.
While I can’t showcase every initiative here, this work reinforced my belief that strong design isn’t just about aesthetics: it’s about architecting narratives that empower communities to see themselves as co-builders of a decentralized future.
Journey
so far
I’ve spent 4+ years fixing blockchain’s dumpster-fire interfaces—because let’s be real, even crypto bros shouldn’t need a decoder ring just to swap a damn token.
My origin story? I went from coding my way out of middle school boredom (shoutout to 12-year-old me hacking Neopets profiles) to freelancing for startups that paid me in pizza and existential dread. But when I saw Web3’s UX—yikes—I swapped syntax highlighting for Figma. Turns out, no amount of “decentralization” excuses buttons that look like they’re having a stroke.
What I’ve nailed so far:
✦ DeFi dashboards that traders don’t rage-quit during a 100x leverage play
✦ Designed DAO tools that make governance feel less like herding meth-addicted cats
✦ Crafted wallet flows so smooth, your Boomer uncle could accidentally buy SHIBA
✦ Salvaged NFT platforms from their inevitable "Geocities-meets-Ponzi-scheme" aesthetic
